Google revenue jumped 7 percent from last year, while profits were up $35 million from this time last year, according to Thursday earnings results.
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Google Inc said more than 2 million businesses now use its online office software, and the Web search leader is going global on Monday with an advertising campaign to lure customers away from Microsoft Corp and IBM products.
According to Engadget HD, Vimeo is now hosting over one million videos, and 10% of those are high-definition. A quote in the article refers to Vimeo as "the largest repository of high-definition video anywhere in the world."

Components and systems distributor Acal plc announced it is acquiring the entire issued share capital of France-based BFi Optilas SAS for 10 million euros ($14.78 million) payable in cash and 2 million euros ($2.95 million) of Acal ordinary shares to be issued on completion.
